The annual Wizard World Chicago was last weekend, and I, like many fans of the “nerd culture” decided that I wanted to pay it a visit. Having already been to C2E2 earlier this year, I knew the dangers of me going, yet I decided to brave the convention floor. Now, you may ask, “what dangers?” The main risk I run while going to such conventions is me becoming separated from my money.
Borderlands quickly gain a lot of popularity amongst the gaming community. While the first game suffered from a pretty lackluster story, the second one improved greatly upon that aspect. In addition to that, Telltale’s Tales from the Borderlands expands even more on the universe. And, like with any property that gets popular, Hollywood picked up on it. More
The hit television series Gotham is a huge draw for Batman fans. However, seeing as it is a show that takes place before a time when the Dark Knight patrols the streets of the titular city, many are left wondering if and when we will see the Caped Crusader.
Following suit of Hollywood adapting properties and rebooting old franchises, Hitman: Agent 47 is a reboot of a video game adaptation. This does not bode well for us. Hear what Chris and Alex thought of this latest film and whether it’s worth your time.
Nathan Fillion made an appearance at Wizard World Comic Con Chicago this weekend. He was asked to name any superhero he would like play from the Marvel or DC universes. Nathan Fillion responded with ““I think I could take a pretty good crack at Booster Gold. That’s kind of my niche… show-off-ey, vain. I think I could handle that… not too bright.” If you are familiar with the actor’s roles on Castle and Captain Hammer from Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog it makes total sense.
Fillion went on to name a couple other possibilities. “I think Ambush Bug. You like that? A little bit off his rocker. You’d never see my face. But I think Greatest American Hero is due for a reboot.”
