The Lost Level crew invaded Chicago Comic Con (C3) this past weekend; ready to get raid the merchants, and linger in the alley. The Chicago Comic Con, formerly Wizard World Chicago, has evolved into a large “Bazaar” of sorts, full of autograph hounds, and cosplayers. While plenty of artists filled the ever growing “alley” located in the back of the con, one glaring problem comes to the forefront, no representation from the larger names of Marvel or DC.
Hey internet, it’s been awhile. As you can see, we weren’t able to get together this week to record a new episode of The Lost Level. Fear not friends, we are still here. Chris had to celebrate his birthday with a few Guiness, and the rest of the guys busted out the sewing machines for this weekend!
The gang is crashing Chicago Comic Con! We will be talking about the experience, as well as the latest in news on the next episode. If you are attending the show please drop us an email, and we can meet up. We would love to meet and greet fans of the show. What obscure Japanese character will G be? Will Chris actually dress up this year? Will Adam show his claws? Stay tuned for pics, podcasts, and all the G someone can handle!
In the meantime, stop procrastinating and subcribe to us on iTunes, Twitter, and “like” us on Facebook. All links are located on the top right side of the site. Click the icon and BAM, you are there. All the cool kids are doing it, don’t be left out!
See you soon!
Some new pictures of the Batsuit have come online. It seems very similar to the suit in The Dark Knight. I don’t see any noticeable differences. We also get to see pictures of the camouflage Tumbler, a new Batpod, and Marion Cotillard. If that wasn’t enough, we get some pics of Bane taking a Batbow to the face! Do you see differences? I added a pic at the end with all three suits side by side. Let us know what you think! Click on more.
I’m not the first to say this, but the reason Batman is an iconic character is because of his rogues’ gallery. The Dark Knight Rises incorporates one of the strongest foes; Bane, played by Tom Hardy. Here are some pictures of Bane standing on top of the Tumbler. These are spoilers, so if you do not want to see Nolan’s vision of Bane, do not click on more.
What’s up Internet!? Long time… Sorry for the delay in our shows. We had some scheduling conflicts, and rather than release a weaker cast we chose to wait and get everyone together. This week we are going to release 2 casts! The long awaited The Lost Level: Episode 6, and the Round Table: Shadows of the Damned. We are like Puto Clauses, showering the internet with podcasts and tequila! (it’s a Shadows joke, not everyone will get it, some people will read that and ask, “what is a puto clause”?) Just go with it…
Thanks for your patience, as a reward Chris might even write a blog… But it’s more likely he’ll just make G.
We can’t wait to record the new episodes, until then, enjoy a previous cast, or follow us on Twitter, maybe Facebook, twiddle your thumbs, post some mean comments about Adam, tell us how much you miss ‘Mr. Nips”, go “planking”, or maybe “owling”. I really want to make G go “owling”, maybe Adam and I will force him to “owl” somewhere. Do you “Owl”? Why? I need to understand this stuff, as I write this I think G IS going to “owl” now, and we’ll just keep him “owling” for hours until Adam and I can fully grasp these concepts. Maybe it will be our next campaign to get more followers on Twitter. Starving him seemed to work for Facebook “likes”.
See you later this week!
“You’re a different kind of wizard Harry.”
While many people, myself included were excited to finally see an epic battle by wizards, it’s actually the characters that give Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 the fitting ending the series deserved. We watched these characters grow, we care about them, and the little character moments are what separates this film series from a lot of today’s movies.
“We can’t be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it’s fate that today is the Fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom… Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution… but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live… To exist… And should we win the day, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice:
“We will not go quietly into the night!” We’re going to live on! We’re going to survive!
Today we celebrate our Independence Day!” – President Thomas Whitmore
This week on Lost Level we are blowing shit up America style! Well if America had an actual “style” for blowing shit up. We aren’t friends with Mike Bay, so I guess sparklers and some noise makers will have to make due.
This is a busy week for the guys at Lost Level. We are excited to announce that we will have 3 new casts this week. The Lost Level: Episode 3 will be arriving on Tuesday. In this episode the guys are joined by Adam, from our X-Men First Class Round-Table. We will be covering the latest game and movie news, as well as our thoughts on Super 8.
The next Movie Round-Table the guys put on their power rings to discuss The Green Lantern. Will Ryan Reynolds overcome the critical reviews? Find out what the guys think.
And rounding out the week is our first Game Round-Table, inFAMOUS 2. The Beast is in New Maris, and the LL crew take it head on. Ok, we let Cole handle him, but we safely watch the battle from the Red Ring Electronics store.
All Round-Tables are spoiler heavy, and meant to be listened to after you have watched, or played.
Hello world! We have done a soft launch and are now in the process of getting up and operational. I am still working on getting the RSS feeds to work correctly, as well as the iTunes feed. So please bare with us as we continue to work out the issues.
Thanks for visiting and we hope you enjoy the casts.
