The Lost Level

The Lost Level: Episode Six

This week on The Lost Level… it’s the “newscast” edition as G and Chris are going to be discussing a lot of random, geeky stuff that have been making internet rounds over the last few days, if not the last 24-48 hours.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3! Freddy Krueger being summoned to the world of Mortal Kombat! Mega Man Legends 3 being canned! The Amazing Spider-Man and The Dark Knight Rises teaser trailers (silver shoes slightly included)! Yes and oh, what’s this– a new Grasshopper Manufacture game (you know, Shadows of the Damned and No More Heroes developers) where you play a chainsaw-wielding cheerleader and you fight zombies!? Sick. All this and MORE.

Plus– a very special message from the Lost Level creator himself.

The Lost Level: Episode Five

This week on The Lost Level… Chris talks a little bit about replaying the Mass Effect series over the weekend, plus a game everybody should be familiar with called Black Ops (y’know: Call of Duty). Meanwhile, Adam continues to discuss his love affair with the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta, and has also acquired the HD remake of Beyond Good & Evil. And then there’s G talking about a really badass samurai movie called 13 Assassins. It’s actually directed by the guy who’s making the live-action adaptation movie of Phoenix Wright if that helps…

Turn-based hater and awesome friend of the show, Adam, officially joins the mighty duo of G & Chris in this week’s episode of The Lost Level! Tune in as the trio discuss what they all thought about Super 8, Shadows of the Damned’s lackluster hype and HBO’s Game of Thrones. Season 1 just ended 2 days ago, and G tries to convince the other 2 why GoT is an AMAZING show and how he appreciated it from a gamer’s perspective.

Plus– thoughts on Batman: Arkham City’s Robin, Grand Theft Auto V being semi-officially confirmed for next year, the ridiculously titled Evangelion rhythm game, Halo CE remake’s Kinect whatnot, the true story behind Megan Fox and Transformers 3, the epic trailer of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Russell Crowe as Jor El, AND more!

The Lost Level: Episode Two

“The E3 Special Edition episode of The Lost Level where Chris takes the hosting duties this time around, as the duo discuss everything they felt about this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. From the 3 major conferences to Mr. Caffeine and a bunch of other crazy things; this episode is super jam packed… and yes, frankly speaking, epic!

We didn’t even mention the amount of games G played at the show, which was enormous that Chris nearly dozed off at some point and threw his beer can (kidding, he didn’t). Speaking of which, check out also the latter part of the show where G talks about his E3 experience being a first-time attendee. How it felt being there for the very first time, what was the vibe overall and a couple of other things. Again, an epic show and hope you listeners out there will dig it.”

The Lost Level: Episode One

“It’s the ‘retail’ version of The Lost Level where G and Chris discuss a lot of things… such as the InFAMOUS 2 demo, Bridesmaids, The Hangover Part II AND Konami’s (recently aired) pre-E3 event, which had a couple of juicy announcements! Big ones like the HD Collections of Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill and Zone of the Enders, plus a bizarre game where you can freakishly take out the main character’s head and use it as a weapon! No, we are dead serious.

Plus– a West & East perspective on the Gears of War series and some very –and I do mean very– quick E3 predictions.”

The Lost Level: Episode Zero

“Chris rewinds the clock a little bit by discussing Dragon Age II and Alan Wake. While G, on the other hand, colorfully praises the visual styles of both Catherine and El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron (the demos if you will). Then a brief discussion about L.A. Noire, even though G seems pretty pissed about the whole overheating issue!

Plus– thoughts on the movies Attack The Block and Kung Fu Panda 2, Platinum Games working on Metal Gear Solid Rising, Sony’s PSP Remaster series, the recently released trailer of the new BloodRayne game, AND a couple of other bizarre and nerdish things in this “beta” version of The Lost Level.”
